Register online for your Cambridge exam
How can I register for Cambridge exams?
Follow these three essential steps to book your Cambridge exam and ensure your place in the upcoming session.
Tip: Not sure which qualification is right for you or when to take it? Before you begin, we recommend you choose the Cambridge exam that suits your level or check our Dates, fees and locations to find the most convenient session in Georgia.
Step 1: Complete your exam registration online
The first step is to visit our exam registration platform where you can select your preferred level, city, and Cambridge exam registration date.
- Enter your details: Provide your personal information carefully.
- Confirmation: After submitting, you will receive an automatic "Application Summary" email. If you don't receive this email right after registering, please contact us.
- Deadline: If a session is missing from the list, the Cambridge exam registration deadline has passed or the test is already full.
For TKT exam: Please fill in the application form for individual candidates available in the section below and share via email or in person with your payment receipt.
Step 2: Pay for your exam
To finalize your booking, the exam fee must be paid online or via bank transfer within two working days of your online registration. Please note that the British Council in Georgia does not accept cash or card payments at our physical offices.
- Online payment: Pay immediately via the registration portal using Visa or Mastercard.
- Bank transfer: Transfer the fee to our Bank of Georgia account (Account name: British Council in Georgia, bank code: BAGAGE22, Account number: GE42BG0000000300313800)
Crucial for bank transfers: Ensure the candidate’s name and your registration reference number are included in the transfer details. You will receive a "Summary and Payment" confirmation within two working days of receipt.
Step 3: Receive your exam confirmation
Once your payment is confirmed, your Cambridge exam registration is complete. Please email your application summary and, if you paid by bank transfer, your proof of payment to exams@ge.britishcouncil.org within one day of submitting your online application. Please note that your registration may be cancelled if we do not receive these documents on time.
- Confirmation of Entry (CoE): Ten days before your paper-based exam and one week before your digital exam, you will receive an official email containing your full schedule, venue addresses, and candidate number.
- Young Learners (YLE): Parents will receive a specific email with exam day schedule and regulations approximately ten days before the exam.
Assistance: If you haven’t received your CoE seven days before the Speaking window begins, please contact us immediately.
Note: If you do not have an ID document, please complete the Cambridge English ID form available in the Downloads section. The form includes guidance on how to fill it in. Submit it to the British Council during the registration period together with the documents listed in Step 3.
