We work with government bodies, policy makers, university leaders, academics and students in Georgia and the UK to support international aspects of higher education. We do this by providing UK expertise, encouraging policy dialogue, and by fostering international collaboration and partnerships.
We encourage international dialogues at a governmental and institutional level in the sphere of higher education, bringing people together for debate and dialogue around core themes and issues. One such major event is the prestigious international conference Going Global, which the British Council holds annually and which brings together more than 1,200 international education leaders and professionals from more than 80 countries.
We support the ministry of Education officials and other policy makers to attend annual World Education Forum in the UK to facilitate UK-Georgia university partnerships for enhanced student mobility and support UK-Georgia dialogue and knowledge sharing between universities.
